Introduction to Solar Thermal Energy Technology
With excellent Federal tax incentives available, there is a current opportunity for future students to expand their businesses and careers into the field of solar installation. This 5 day workshop will provide students with in-depth training involving the installation of solar thermal heating systems. There will be both classroom training and hands-on lab activities throughout the duration of the class. Some topics of discussion will be: solar thermal water heating, solar thermal space heating, solar thermal panel technology, system troubleshooting, and safety and building code issues. Students will also be prepared to take the Associate Program NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) solar thermal heating exam at the end of the class. The time is now for renewable energy. Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your career into a growing field. Zak Dowell is our NABCEP certified instructor. He holds a Master’s of Science degree in Technology, with concentrations in renewable energy and building science. Students will be given the opportunity to deal with the very components that are used in the field. Don’t go to a training center where you will only sit in the classroom!
