STI performed the first solar installation inspected by the city of Yorktown. The 3000 watt system was quickly installed with microinverters mounted under each of the solar panels. The use of microinverters for grid-tied systems allows for an easy installation with high performance. Enphase microinverters also come with an “envoy”, which is a component that allows clients to view the performance of their system from their computers. The picture here shows Wil Caton wiring the enphase microinverver prior to installing the panel that it will be wired to. With no primary and bulky inverter needed for these systems, the wiring is fast and installations can take place in a day. Our company now recommends the solar edge optimizer systems over the microinverter systems, due to the incredible performance of this system that was recently brought into the solar market place.
